 1.  Propeller agitator is composed of 2 to 3 propeller blades, the working speed is high, and the circular speed of the outer edge of the blade is generally 5 to 15m/s. Propeller agitator mainly causes axial liquid flow and produces a large circulation amount, which is suitable for stirring low viscosity (<2Pa·s) liquid, emulsion and solid particle content of less than 10% suspension. The rotating shaft of the agitator can also be inserted horizontally or obliquely into the tank, at which time the circulation loop of the liquid flow is asymmetrical, which can increase turbulence and prevent the liquid surface depression.

 2.  The turbine agitator is composed of 2 to 4 flat or curved blades mounted on a horizontal disc. The ratio of the outer diameter, width and height of the blade is generally 20:5:4, and the circular speed is generally 3 ~ 8m/s. The turbine creates highly turbulent radial flow during rotation, which is suitable for the dispersion and liquid-liquid reaction of gases and immiscible liquids. The viscosity of the stirred liquid generally does not exceed 25Pa·s.

 3.  Paddle agitator has two types: flat paddle type and oblique paddle type. A flat paddle mixer consists of two straight blades. The ratio of blade diameter to height is 4 ~ 10, the circular velocity is 1.5 ~ 3m/s, and the radial flow velocity is small. The two blades of an inclined paddle agitator are reversed by 45° or 60°, resulting in an axial flow. The paddle agitator has a simple structure and is often used for the mixing of low viscosity liquids and the dissolution and suspension of solid particles.

 4.  The shape of the outer edge of the anchor agitator blade should be consistent with the inner wall of the mixing tank, and there is only a small gap between them, which can remove the viscous reaction products attached to the wall of the tank or the solid matter accumulated at the bottom of the tank, and maintain a good heat transfer effect. The outer edge of the blade has a circular velocity of 0.5 to 1.5m/s and can be used to stir Newtonian and quasi-plastic fluids with viscosities up to 200Pa·s (see viscous fluid Flow). Only when the high viscosity liquid is stirred, there is a large stagnation zone in the liquid layer.

 5.  The outer diameter of the screw belt is equal to the pitch of the screw, which is specially used for stirring high-viscosity liquids (200 ~ 500Pa·s) and pseudo-plastic fluids, usually in the laminar flow state operation.

 6.  The Corning digital heater has a closed circuit knob to monitor and adjust the mixing speed. The microprocessor automatically adjusts the motor power to adapt to water quality, viscous and semi-solid solutions.

 7.  Magnetic Heating Stirrers Corning digital heating stirrers come with an optional external temperature controller (Cat. No. 6795PR), they can also monitor and control the temperature in the container.
